The culinary offerings are a highlight, with standout main courses that cater perfectly to groups and families alike. Although it requires a bit more travel time from the city center, the tranquil ambiance and picturesque surroundings make it a compelling choice for those seeking a peaceful escape. Overall, it's a hidden gem worth considering for a leisurely outing or retreat."
"Place is really serene and it highlights the nature’s view. Food is perfection * Chef’s Kiss*, we got the Asian Chicken Teriyaki and Creamy beef and mushroom stew, which are great btw. This place is a bang for your buck and a must try cafe. They also have cabins for rent which we will definitely try the next time! Also, I definitely would like to commend our server Jayvee for being kind and very attentive to us while we dine in Cafe Stella."
"Cafe Stella offers a truly breathtaking breakfast experience that perfectly complements the majestic scenic views of the Benguet mountains. Those rolling peaks while enjoying a delicious meal is an absolute dream for any nature lover. The combination of high-quality food and an unparalleled landscape makes this spot a crown jewel of the region. The atmosphere here is remarkably refreshing, filled with crisp fresh air and a peaceful, quiet surrounding that feels deeply connected to nature. It is rare to find a place that maintains such a clean and pristine environment while remaining so welcoming to every guest. This tranquil setting provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing you to recharge your spirit. I was particularly impressed by their commitment to culinary innovation and look forward to trying their upcoming new menus on my next visit. The service and quality are so exceptional that I will be coming back for sure to see what else they have in store. If you are looking for a dining destination that offers both a feast for the eyes and the palate, Cafe Stella is the place to be."
"The place and ambiance is very relaxing, with great food. The food, especially their coffee are surprisingly cheaper than any other cafes we tried in Baguio City. The serving time is longer than expected, but I guess it depends on the food that you order. The crew (MJ) was also approachable and friendly. Overall all experience is excellent and we'll definitely comeback here."
"place and the ambiance is classy and relaxing. great view food is good. i love the cre brulee coffeer na pawow ako sa lasa. i love pancake and super flavorful dahil sa strawberry. i dont like the nachos. pricey and not worth it. matabang pati sauce. factor lang yung cheesyness and chewiness ng sauce pero 3/10 for that. the rest is 10/10"
"If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle of Baguio, Cafe Stella in Itogon should be on your list. The Vibe: Quiet, calm, and absolutely serene—this is the kind of place where you can truly unwind and disconnect. The tranquil atmosphere alone makes the trip worthwhile. The Food: Cafe Stella serves up sumptuous, delicious fare that celebrates local flavors. What makes their menu special? Most dishes incorporate traditional ingredients like etag (smoked/cured meat) or kiniing (salted meat), giving you an authentic taste of Cordillera cuisine. It's comfort food with a distinctly local touch. Planning Your Visit: Perfect for: A relaxing day trip from Baguio. Recommended stay: One day is enough to explore Itogon Not ideal for: Extended stays (2+ days) as there aren't many activities in the immediate area Bottom Line: Cafe Stella is worth the visit for the food and peaceful ambiance alone. Just plan it as a day trip—enjoy the food, soak in the calm, then head back to Baguio for more adventures. Rating: 4/5 (Great for day trips, limited for extended stays)"
"DEC 2025: We first tried Café Estella around 3 PM, but it was packed and raining, so we booked a table for dinner. Other plans got in the way, but we couldn’t leave without trying it—we came back the next morning for breakfast. Portions were huge and satisfying! The kids devoured their bacon and eggs, while the tapa and chorizo made tasty alternatives. We were blown away by the pancakes—they felt like a full cake. Between banana crème brûlée and strawberry pancakes (the crowd favorite), plus the French toast, everything was a hit. The ambiance is fantastic with stunning views and plenty of scenic spots for photos. Lots of exciting developments nearby too—we’ll return soon for dinner to try more menu items and check out the chapel at the lower part of the property. Worth the Wait: Generous Portions and Great Vibes at Café Estella. How’s your expeience? Got other food recommendations for our next visit?"
"A beautiful spot in Itogon Benguet and only 10 km from Baguio City. The overlooking view of the mountains was how I remember Baguio City years ago. It contains a cafe/restaurant, boutique style accommodations & a wedding venue. Cafe Stella is fairly new…modern and beautifully designed. Great menu selection, reasonable prices and our food was delicious. I visited twice in two days. My only critique would be the staff not remembering who ordered what when bringing the food to the table (on both visits); otherwise it was a great place to go."
